1. Coconut shake - the only place I have been able to buy it is in the pasar malam in Kemaman. I used to drink this at least once a week.
2. Pasar malam - the pasar malam in Kemaman has lots and lots of different food. It is held every Monday and Thursday night and stretches for quite a distance.
The pasar malam near my house in Seremban has a few 'makan' stalls and looks like a place you would go to if you would like to be mugged more than anything else.
3. Going to a shop means a 15 minute drive away. Now, going to the shop needs at least half an hour.
4. I had friends there.
5. I had neighbours whom I knew.
6. I don't have to worry about going to a shop and having someone talk to me in Tamil (my Tamil language speaking skills are rather limited). Seremban is FULL of Indians.
7. The goreng pisang shop was about 5 minutes away from my house.
8. No traffic jam (except in the mornings). Seremban - you never know when there will be a jam.
9. Seremban is HOT, HOT, HOT.
