Bride dumped at matchmaking agency
KUALA LUMPUR: A 47-year-old businessman dumped his young Vietnamese wife at the matchmaking agency just 17 days after their wedding and demanded a full refund.
The man, who had paid RM13,800 to the matchmaking agency, also took the passport belonging to the 22-year-old woman, identified only as Ngo, from Ho Chi Minh City.
“He complained that he could not communicate with her (Ngo could only speak Vietnamese), she wouldn’t wear the clothes he bought for her, and that she kept saying she wanted to go back to Vietnam.
“He left her in front of my office on March 30,” the matchmaking agent, who only wanted to be known as Ben, told reporters at the MCA Public Services and Complaints Bureau.
What?
What nonsense.
Why would anyone marry someone who can't understand whatever they say?
